Mildura Hookups: Mildura Women Want to Meet
Casual sex across Sunraysia, with the river, the heat and the long roads planned for.
The Murray turned Mildura into an oasis
Mildura gets about 280 millimetres of rain a year, sits only 50 metres above sea level and is several hundred kilometres from the coast, yet it supplies roughly four in five of Victoria's grapes. The Murray River does the work. Mildura is known as Australia's first irrigation colony, irrigated horticulture still surrounds it, and the place is often called an oasis in the desert.
The centre sits close to the riverbank. Langtree Avenue is the main shopping and dining strip, with a pedestrian mall in the middle, and Feast Street, between Seventh and Eighth streets, is where the boutique eateries cluster. Either makes an easy, public spot for a first coffee or drink. Paddlesteamers and boat cruises work the river, which makes a better second date than a first.
Plan around the heat. Summer afternoons average 32°C and pass 40°C on a number of days each year, so keep outdoor meets for the evening. Winter afternoons sit near 15°C, and frost is common.
Long roads between towns, so plan the trip
Mildura is low-rise and spread out, and most people drive. If you are meeting for the evening, sort your own lift home first, and see the safety page for the rest of the checklist. The nearest place with a page of its own is a long way off, so a meet-up with someone from outside the district is a proper trip.

Yes. Mildura has its own airport, Greyhound runs coaches to Adelaide and Sydney, and V/Line coach services link the city with parts of Victoria and southern New South Wales. Pick a public meeting spot in the chat and decide how each of you will travel.
Is there anything on in Mildura that we can chat about first?
